Corruption: The Bush Doctrine

The only thing that surprises me about this is that it is even being reported. (Am I being repetitious with that statement?) In fact, the Bush Administrations entire reign was predicated with and founded in corruption. And they only got bolder as time went by. Big Dick Cheney's attitude toward public opinion, "So?", sums up their collective regard for basic law, Constitutional, International, or any other. They don't give a fuck.

And why on earth would they wish to stop corruption in Iraq? That gives them their excuse to stay there. If anything, they would foment the corruption.

Ex-officials: Bush admin. ignored Iraq corruption
The State Department's policies "not only contradicted the anti-corruption mission but indirectly contributed to and has allowed corruption to fester at the highest levels of the Iraqi government," Brennan told the Senate Democratic Policy Committee.

The U.S. embassy "effort against corruption - including its new centerpiece, the now-defunct Office of Accountability and Transparency - was little more than 'window dressing,'" he added.

Oh, and those "Iranian supplied weapons"? Not Iranian. In fact, they are likely of US origin.

In contrast, the Pentagon in August 2007 admitted that it had lost track of a third of the weapons distributed to the Iraqi security forces in 2004/2005. The 190,000 assault rifles and pistols roam free in Iraqi streets today.

And the American sheeple draw another swig off the capitalist tit and say, "Who cares, as long as I get mine!"

The truly sad part of any of this is that not one of these culpable war criminals (bastards) will ever be held accountable. But you can be sure that Satan's minions will be lined up to throw themselves in front of the buss for their god's here on earth. "A Few Good Men", like Olly North (yeah, right), will step up to take the heat. Then they will write a book about it and the American Dip Sticks will stand in line to buy it.

And who knows, the book may come in handy for heating fuel in the not so distant future!
