MARKET WATCH

"The Federal Reserve Bank of New York, which carries out the central bank's open market operations, moved Thursday to inject $41 billion in temporary reserves into the U.S financial system. It came as part of ongoing efforts designed to ensure that the markets -- which have suffered through a period of turbulence over the last few months -- function smoothly. The cash infusion came in three separate operations.

A New York Fed spokesman said it was the largest single day of operations since $50.35 billion was pumped into the system on Sept. 19, 2001, following the terror strikes on New York and Washington. He declined further comment."

The DOW has fallen now 1000 points in roughly 4 weeks after a record high of over 1400 points. I anticipate a continued decline for the next 15 months at minimum. Though it may have brief recovery periods, it will continue to fall until George Dumbya Bullshitler and Company are removed from office. I have no idea at this time what that alone will do to world market investment confidence. (Could you imagine being THAT hated world wide?) But regardless of any reaction to a change of regime here in the United States, the declining trend will continue. The damage has been done. It will take 20 years or more for the World to recover from the arrogance and misdeeds done by the American Government world wide.

While the market has not closed at < 1300 as of this writing, it is coming. The trend will continue as the world writhes under the oppressive hand of fascism.

Over the past two weeks the market has attempted to rally and fluctuated amid rumors and speculation over the economic stimulus package and its ability to have any effect. Today, the bubble busted. More to the point, the world economy along with political stability took a tremendous jolt today. Several world events have rattled the establishment to its foundation during the course of the past week. And more will follow. If this is not the beginning of the end, then the end is already well under way.

Cleaning up the Nation's streets

FALCON 2007 continued to promote these important efforts, but took on a more focused, long-term approach by targeting twenty-seven cities and regions experiencing elevated levels of criminal activity. Working in conjunction with the Department of Justice, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, and other agencies, the U.S. Marshals Service identified and targeted the communities most in need of assistance. The Marshals then reached out to their many partners in federal, state, and local law enforcement to coordinate a sustainable push designed to safely apprehend the maximum number of violent predators. Deputy U.S. marshals teamed with agents, investigators, detectives, officers, and deputies to form a powerful unit that located and arrested 6,406 fugitive felons, ensuring a greater level of safety on the streets of America.

Ready for a Change?

A Collection: Philosophers

I received an e-mail from a visitor to my blog a few weeks back that inspired me to a little project. The message read as follows:

You asked for tips and here they are. You are a former Marine and Christian. Now you are a Buddhist and having trouble "practicing your faith." What you need to do is to read (translation: meditate upon until you know them by heart) various works. Here are some of them: Nietzsche, The Antichrist The works of Chuang-Tzu and Lao-Tzu. The Japanese Art of War by Thomas Cleary (you were a Marine.) Attack on Christendom by Kierkegaard. (Please find a translation that is easy to read. If Kierkegaard is obscure, it is the fault of the translator.) Buddhism is not a faith, it is closer to a philosophy (which it isn't either.) Don't "try" to practice it as a faith. The works of Alan Watts are a good ladder to get to where you want to go but if you forget to throw away the ladder once you get there, well, you might as well go back to being a fundamentalist Christian because the result will be better. This 'random act of kindness' inspired me to collect as many of these works, and others of import, as I could find in e-text and put them together into a single Library.For a package of must read literature, 'Philosophers' is a collection of works from such great philosophers as Aristotle, Nietzsche, Thoreau, Sun Tzu, and others packed in an application that allows you to add works to, rearrange, delete, or customize in any way you see fit. And the app also allows you to organize any other information and ideas in a hierarchical, tree-like structure. 'Philosophers' is a .gde file packed especially for use with 'The Guide'.'The Guide' is an application that allows you create documents ("guides") which inherently have a tree (which you can modify as you please) and text associated with each node of the tree. The text itself is of the rich-text variety, and the editor allows you to modify the style and formatting of the text (fonts, bold, italics etc). The Guide is available as an installable package for Microsoft Windows 2000 and upwards (XP, 2003, Vista). It should work (although not tested) on the 64-bit versions also. The binaries are also available as a zip file that requires no installation. The plight of World Buddhism, "the American Way", and the Apathy of Mankind

In September 1949, Communist China, without any provocation, invaded Eastern Tibet and captured Chamdo, the headquarters of the Governor of Eastern Tibet. On November 11, 1950, the Tibetan Government protested to the United Nations Organisation against the Chinese aggression. Although El Salvador raised the question, the Steering Committee of the General Assembly moved to postpone the issue.


On November 17, 1950, His Holiness the Fourteenth Dalai Lama assumed full spiritual and temporal powers as the Head of State because of the grave crisis facing the country, although he was barely sixteen years old. On May 23, 1951 a Tibetan delegation, which had gone to Peking to hold talks on the invasion, was forced to sign the so-called "17-point Agreement on Measures for the Peaceful Liberation of Tibet", with threats of more military action in Tibet and by forging the official seals of Tibet.


The Chinese then used this document to carry out their plans to turn Tibet into a colony of China disregarding the strong resistance by the Tibetan people. What is more, the Chinese violated every article of this unequal 'treaty' which they had imposed on the Tibetans.


On September 9, 1951 thousands of Chinese troops marched into Lhasa. The forcible occupation of Tibet was marked by systematic destruction of monasteries, suppression of religion, denial of political freedom, widespread arrests and imprisonment and massacre of innocent men, women and children.


On March 10, 1959 the nation-wide Tibetan resistance culminated in the Tibetan National Uprising against the Chinese in Lhasa. The Chinese retaliated with a ruthlessness unknown to the Tibetans. Thousands of men, women and children were massacred in the streets and many more imprisoned and deported. Monks and nuns were a prime target. Monasteries and temples were shelled.


On March 17, 1959 the Dalai Lama left Lhasa and escaped from the pursuing Chinese to seek political asylum in India. He was followed by unprecedented exodus of Tibetans into exile. Never before in their history had so many Tibetans been forced to leave their homeland under such difficult circumstances. There are now more than one hundred thousand Tibetan refugees all over the world.

to save succeeding generations from the scourge of war, which twice in our lifetime has brought untold sorrow to mankind, and

to reaffirm faith in fundamental human rights, in the dignity and worth of the human person, in the equal rights of men and women and of nations large and small, and


to establish conditions under which justice and respect for the obligations arising from treaties and other sources of international law can be maintained, and


to promote social progress and better standards of life in larger freedom,


While the Buddhist monks and civilians continue to be imprisoned and killed indiscriminately in Myanmar, the World continues to passively watch and do nothing about unmitigated aggression on fundamentally peaceful people.

So, I say without hesitation nor apology, that it is not JUST Americans that are asleep at the wheel while the war machine called Capitalism continues to trample the dead bodies of the peaceful. If you want to call everyone in America in general lazy, uneducated, bigoted bores, take a look in the mirror before you do. There is enough criticism to go around.

What there is NOT is enough people to stand together in unity against the machine of oppression and slavery of mind and body to make a positive change for the better for the world at large. When will I see true leaders emerge to unite the people of the world? Better yet, when will the people of the world strike down this concept of "us and them"?

We will all pay, indeed are already paying, for the general apathy associated with living in the contemporary model, of allowing the Corporations to dictate the fate of mankind. Their point of view is only short term, the exploitation of humanity and of world resources for monetary gain. It can only end in ruin for us all.

Anonymity & the Net

Forbes Magazine October 15, 2007 edition has an article entitled Anonymity & the Net  by Victoria Murphy Barret. " It started as privacy protection for the abused, the oppressed and the bashful. Now it shields creeps, criminals and malicious mobs. How to fix it?"

It tells of a harrowing experience by Christos Catsouras, and his wife Lesli, when their daughter Nicole died in an automobile accident and investigation photos were leaked by the California Highway Patrol that appeared on the web with unflattering commentary. The story goes on to describe their plight to get the "gruesome" photos removed along with the "jeering" commentary.

Now, Lesli says, "Nobody seemed to think it was a big deal, except for us." And, " I don't believe in anonymity, not in this country. We're too privileged to allow this to happen. Everyone will get hurt by this. Just watch."

We're too privileged?! WE are too privileged?! Don't EVEN speak for me, bitch. You know nothing about me!

The only reason that I can think of that Forbes Magazine is printing this article is that they, too, along with big business and Microsoft, believe that anonymity is a bad thing and should be curbed by (corporate bought) government interventions.

I feel for the Catsouras'. I really do. However, I don't think that effectively GAGGING everyone is the answer. After all, who caused the bad? CHP. Plain and simple. I must agree that there are a lot of mean 'people' (and I use that term loosely in this case) out here on the internet. I read a lot of mean spirited comments on message boards and it often causes me to NOT participate in the discussion. Isn't that the spirit of 'free enterprise'? If I'm not interested in a certain commodity, I refrain from consuming it! And no one has ever protected MY interests from public consumption.

But who the hell are you, or anyone else for that matter, to tell me what information I CAN view or comment on? I refuse to use GOOGLE, the parent company of this blog site, because of their complicity in the Presidential infringement on American Constitutional Rights by releasing user information. (I had begun this blog before Google's acquisition and am therefore stuck with a bastard step-parent.)

The article suggests that identity equals accountability. Well, from where I'm sitting, Big Money equals deniability and identity equals oppression. Do what you will, we will always remain free! Bad article and position, Forbes Magazine.

G.W.: The program increase will be paid for by raising taxes on the working class. (Paraphrase, near quote).

In actuality it will be paid for by a 61 cent tax increase on cigarettes which industry is dependent predominantly on the working class. In other words, it will be bad for the Tobacco Industry.

Say what you mean, man. Bad for workers hooked on a legal substance, but generally bad for big business as more people will quit using this destructive substance for survival reasons. The folks who use cigarettes will simply be less capable of affording them.

And as sales go down, hurting the profit margins of the elite, where, pray tell will the money come from then?

There was a time when I would have supported the election of Collin Powel for Commander and Chief. Of course, that was before he sold out to the money whores and bowed out in disgrace. I hope everyone notices the fate of Bush Administration officials who defy or even disagree with Dumbia and Darth Vader.

Everyone made such a fuss about the President of Iran speaking at Columbia University calling him a liar (among other things) and comparing him to Hitler. My problem is that virtually everything that I heard said about him could be said about George Dumbia, yet no one dares say such truths about our peerless leader. Mainstream media certainly won't, or they would lose their corporate subsidies.

I was participating in an online discussion at beliefnet about a year ago where I identified as a Buddhist and I was complaining about current events and one of the participants told me that Buddhists weren't suppose to "worry about stuff like that". I quit participating on beliefnet. But the circumstance has nagged at the back of my mind ever since. Now, I see Buddhist Monks in Myanmar marching in the streets in protest of military rule and in favor of Democracy. So, I guess we do worry about these things. I guess it is like the Christian admonition to be in this world but not of it.

The Police State Is Right Here, Right Now

Carolyn Baker writes this stunning critique of Naomi Wolf's "10 easy steps" to Fascism. I can't add a word to either of these bold women other than "that's all I'm tryin' to say!". You can see Naomi's interview on The Colbert Report here. These articles are a must read for all American's!

In the "10 easy steps" outlined by Wolf, countries move from open to closed and repressive societies by devolving past certain markers, and Wolf makes a powerful case for the way in which the United States is following a similar pattern without any significant deviation. In each instance she compares and contrasts how America's adherence to the pattern compares or contrasts with the pattern in pre-World War II Germany. The 10 steps are:

Terrorism: Insurgency: Patriotism

I was watching a CNN story about the Predator Drone Unmanned Fighting and Surveillance Vehicle. The drone was survialing the area around an Air Force Base in Iraq when it spotted a lone, un-uniformed man standing outside of his car just off the base perimeter. He had just set up a mortar and was dropping a shell into the tube. It launched. He dropped another into the tube which did not launch. He apparently decided not to attempt to disarm the dud shell and left the tube, got into his car and drove away. The drone then followed him, targeted his car, and blew it, with him in it, to smithereens. He was labeled an insurgent, terrorist.

Now, I have no particular aversion to firing back at anyone shooting at me. And I afford soldiers that same right. But they had no intelligence suggesting WHO this man was. So, why the label? Could he not just as easily be called an Iraqi Patriot? After all, he was not in any uniform nor identifiable as with any particular organization (save for the hardware). And he was shooting at an occupying imperial invasion force.

Which leads me to my next example. What, pray tell, is the difference between using a person or a car to deliver an explosive devise and using a million dollar missile guidance system? Does the actual cost of the missile delivery system define the difference between an evil bomb and a righteous bomb?

And what about "U.S. Security Contractors"? We used to call soldiers for hire, Mercenaries and they usually were hired by the CIA to work black operations. Now, these mercenaries are boldly hired and deployed by the U.S. Government and sanctioned, if not outright ordered by, the White House! They don't even care about deniable plausibility any more.

The current resident ot the White House and all of his minions and cronies are simply bad and evil men. There is little room for debate on the issue. And they are going to drag all of America straight to hell with them. Is your insecurity really so great that you will idly set by and give them free reign to spread fascist capitalism in the name of freedom as you freely allow them to erode and deny you your constitutionally guaranteed rights and freedoms?

Too late, you already have. And your patriotic civic pride that prevents you from even listening to anything that sounds remotely unpatriotic is your Achilles heel.

Cafferty: Buying a gun?

At long last Jack Cafferty of CNN read one of my responses on his segment of the Situation Room, the Cafferty File. The question is regarding a proposed Maryland State initiative which would require potential gun purchasers to sign a release of information for their mental health records in a knee jerk reaction by lawmakers to the VA Tech massacre.

I thought the free market premise is that if I have the money to buy something then it is good for everyone! After all, we as a nation have sold weapons to bin Laden, Norieaga, the Suni's, the Shia, Saddam, and a never ending list of criminals.I fail to see the free market rational for prohibiting sales to someone who merely had a bad 'month'.

I am proud that Jack and/or his team thought my comment worthy of reading on the air. I just hope that my sarcasm and criticism for free market ideas was not lost in translation.

Along with their own 2004 and 2000 elections under the suspicion of fraud, George W. Bush and Richard B. Cheney at the helm of the administration, have led this nation to an illegal and ongoing war, economic disaster, environmental decline, and international disgrace.


It's time for the American people to speak out. It's time for the Congress to do their duty.  It’s time for the American people, through the representatives of the Congress, to impeach the President and the Vice President of the United States.

General Petreaus' Credibility questioned?

I'm astonished by the "General Betray Us" add and all of the rhetoric calling his honesty into question. He DID only parrot everything our peerless leader has been saying for the past few months. But I don't really see how that is 'dishonesty' on his part. A quick look at the duration of the cluster fuck in Iraq should be sufficient to convince us that he is merely protecting his job by following orders. Every single other General and senior official on the Bush team who has ever disagreed with G.W. concerning foreign affairs has been summarily canned. My god, sheople have such short memories.

I find the wording in this article extremely suspect. The idea that they "hate" all Amercians is a sweeping statement that is generally speaking, untrue. What they hate is Capitalism and U.S. foreign policy that has traditionally oppressed their people and robbed their wealth. And inflammatory statements such as "profound hatred of U.S. citizens" are intended to make the reader fear for their own life while continuing to promote ignorance and misinformation.

And these people have centuries of reason to hate Capitalism and U.S. foreign policy.Christian programming never, ever ceases to amaze me! Hell, I hate Capitalism and U.S. foreign policy! We are the enemy!

Neosho, MO Rampage

A suspect is in custody after a shooting in a church in the small southwestern MO town of Neosho. He was reportedly shouting that the parishioners were all liars. As he held the gun to one victims head he reportedly asked if anyone would trade their life for that one. When no one stepped up, he shot the victim.

He also shot and wounded five others and killed three.

What they won't point out is the irony that being Christian is to strive to be Christ like. And Jesus said, "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." John 15:13 . And no one offered his/her life for the one that was offered in trade. Not one.

Of course, this is an extreme case of "practice what you preach", however it is indicative of Christianity at large and in general.It's all good until it affects me personally. Crime, war, the buffoons who have trampled all over the constitution and repeatedly lied to the sheople... None of it really matters until the meat meets the metal.

I am bemused as much as bedeviled by people who "believe" that by virtue of their religion that their truth is the only truth and that their interpretation of that truth nullifies the validity of any other scripture or perspective.

Fossil Fuel Independence? I think not...

Twenty-eight years ago I returned home from a one year tour of active service on mainland Japan to spend thirty days leave before I was to report to my next duty station. Life circumstances brought me into close proximity to a man who I knew as a prolific gambler and sewing machine salesman/repair man. During my entire visit at home I heard this man talking about an engine that he had invented that "ran on air"... Compressed air, to be more specific.

Regardless of the details of the motor, I found it extremely difficult to buy into the notion that it was even remotely possible to power a motor that could power a drive train or a generator with the air that we breath. Or that a gambling sewing machine salesman could develop such a device.
On the last night of my leave from active duty, I was sitting in the Eagles Club in a college town in Arkansas listening to this man try to "sell" stock in the development and production of this motor. Frankly, I thought it was a con. And when the mark, or potential investor, left the table I told the sewing machine man that I just didn’t believe it.

He told me that the prototype was near by and he would show it to me. So, when the bar closed (had to close the bar! He started the motor up for me and I watched it run for over five minutes. In spite of my skepticism, I was now a believer. I will not go into the details of how the machine worked here. My only point is that IT WORKED! Imagine, an engine that requires nothing more than the air we breath to create power to do with as we may!

My friend tried for years to get his creation patented and every time he did, the big power and fuel companies blocked him. He eventually gave up and sold his creation to Exxon for little more than his expenses.
Fast forward thirty years. Now, they are developing "hybrid" vehicles that despite their apparent "greeness" are still dependent on fossil fuel and emitting green house gasses.

So, anyone who says that our government is "trying" to create better fuel economy and more environmentally friendly sources of transportation and power are simply lying. Nuclear, solar, wind, ... Not a single other energy source is as economic nor as clean as this motor. Yet, it is still not in development as an energy alternative.

Why? Because it is a one time, long term sale which requires little service...NO ONE CAN MAKE ANY MONEY ON IT! They can’t even think up a service, like telephone and cable, to continue to charge its users absorbent fees. You buy the motor, it runs for free just like we breath.
This war on terror is all about the oil, no matter what anyone says! And any effort by anyone to move away from oil and fossil fuels is blocked by the ones who benefit from all of the economically and environmentally costly power sources.

I have lived with this knowledge since 1979. Is it really any wonder that I am angry?

Now, who exactly has the money and is trying so hard to protect it? Well, I’ll connect capitalism and Christianity later. I’m mad and tired right now.

Cigarrest

Just a word to the wise from experience...
DO NOT ORDER THE CIGARREST PRODUCT!
The television commercial indicates that they will send you a "FREE TRIAL" if you only pay shipping. It includes "herbal, all natural" stop smoking placebo’s, vitamins, and even "minty" gum. They advertise that if you are not satisfied within thirty days that you need only call to cancel and all future shipments will be canceled.
What they do not explain is that they send in the initial shipment a 90 day supply for which, regardless of your cancel order, they will bill you nearly $70 per month for the next two months. And if you complain, they will not reimburse you.
I don’t suppose I need to tell anyone that if you are already living on a budget, an unauthorized deduction of $70 from ones account can easily cause an overdraft, for which your bank will also charge you an absorbent fee which sends you even further into arrears.
I don’t believe that the Cigarrest Company acts in good faith and I believe that their commercial is intentionally misleading.
High priced "patch" therapy, which is available in every community anywhere, are more effective, not to mention HONEST.
But if you really want to quit smoking, just lay the damned things down and quit. It’s hard, but people do it every day! You can, too.

International Fellowship of Christians and Jews

I saw a commercial the other day that simply floored me. It was so repugnant that I simply had to call and ask them to send me their information so I could read it for myself, just to know that it was true, that they were for real.
It was a commercial for the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews and they wanted ME to send THEM money! The money is supposedly used to build bomb shelters for Israelis.
Here's an idea! Quit lobbing bombs at your neighbors and perhaps they will quit lobbing them at you! Quit CLAIMING the land "in the name of God" and treating those that you are displacing like shit.
And what REALLY irks me is that they are claiming that this organization is working toward peace... by building bomb shelters (if that is what they are doing with the money). And by the way, China displaced the Tibetans over half a century ago. Is anyone doing anything about that?
Well, we are making it easier for them to export their goods, like poison food, to unsuspecting consumers around the world.

It is proper to question our leadership... even patriotic! How many lives have been saved in battle by having select officers fall by friendly fire? It has been considered heretical and unpatriotic, and perhaps even more importantly, unsupportive of the troops to question the wisdom of the actions of our national and military leaders. Therefore, it is absolutely patriotic to speak out when a leader is clearly in the wrong.

It is proper to question our leadership... even patriotic! How many lives have been saved in battle by having select officers fall by friendly fire? And just think how many of THEM really needed killing! But instead of weeding out bad leaders, the Pentagon has been engaged in trying to make a hero out of a football player who was just doing his job and paid the ultimate price. Yet no one could bring themselves to question the wisdom of ever being there in the first place.

Therefore, it is absolutely patriotic to speak out when a leader is clearly in the wrong. Other leaders have been killed for less than the atrocities of the oil war!

Redneck Christmas

T'was the night before Christmas and all through the south

Voting Fraud

I went to vote yesterday morning. I voted against the 35 Circuit Judge in MO, Stephen Sharp. I also voted against Steve Sokolof, the current prosecutor in our county.Granted, they are the only names on the ballot for these positions. But the reason I voted against these two individuals is that they not only did not prosecute a child molester for raping his own daughter, as the MO Department of Family Services found in an investigation and upheld by a citizens review panel.(His father is a retired cop in Arkansas). But they also allowed the child molester to take full custody of his son when his mother objected to this. But the MO Secretary of State shows that Sharp took a clean sweep of all votes! I feel that it is important for the record to show that there was at least one dissenter and that it was not a clean sweep. This just verifies to me that this county is crooked, dirty, and deceitful.This U.S. government is nothing but a sham!

On Cloning

The potential medical benefits to be derived from stem cell research far outweigh the dangers regarding the possibility of human cloning. In fact, the only objection I can think of personally to human cloning is the possibility of cloning George W. Bush or virtually any of the members of the 109th Congress, Republicans, and Christian Evangelicals. Just think, they COULD clone more of the few middle class that are left and the lower class to go to Iraq to stop bullets!

Exit Strategy for Irag: Who has one?

Beside the fact that the American people are only given basically to groups of morons to choose from to run this country, a subject which I intend to expand on in a later post, Republicans claiming that the Democrats do not have one or simply wish to "cut and run" is simply propaganda and libelous slander. They have been rendered impotent by the current Congress and White House. Excluded from discussions on the subject, forced to vote on legislation that they have had mere minutes to examine, and out right stone walling by the Commander and Chimp and legislative majorities has created an air in Washington in which whatever Democrats say about virtually any subject goes unheard. Why should they even suggest anything? Firstly, as Bush wouldn't tell anyone if he had a strategy, which he clearly does not, for fear of informing the "enemy", if the Dems revealed a viable one, the Pubies would claim it as theirs and take credit for it.


If anyone were paying attention at the time, the so called "Shock and Awe" campaign turned out to be a fizzle and fart. And it became the defining moment when they dropped the ball by taking their eye off the prize! We were suppose to be hunting down Osama Bin Laden and his cohorts.


The simple fact is that Bush failed as an oil tycoon in Texas and took his frustration out on Texas Death Row inmates. But The killing fields in Texas were simply too small to satisfy his blood lust. So, he sent our troops to one of the richest oil fields in the world to kill the owners of the oil while his corporate buddies at Haliburton trucked the oil out as fast as they could.


Call it eminent domain.

Personally, I could care less were it not for the fact that he leads the charge in the Evangelical anti-gay rights movement. The hypocrisy of conservatives is simply mind boggling! They claim to support small government, yet they want to tell people they don't even know what they can and cannot do in and out of the privacy of their own homes. When will Christianity realize that absolute power corrupts absolutely?


These glaring examples of pride and vanity care only about what feels good to them at the moment and lining their pockets with money handed them freely based upon their lies and deception.

Ohio's officious jackass of an ex-Congressman Bob Ney, who went down for accepting $170,000 in trips from Abramoff in exchange for various favors.


Former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay, after finally being indicted for money laundering and his fellow Texan, Rep. Pete Sessions, who did Abramoff's bidding after accepting gifts and junkets.


Convicted bribe-taker and GOP ex-congressman Randy "Duke" Cunningham who still denies any wrong doing.


Mark Foley (need I say more).


And these are only GLARING examples of their ilk, the New Republican.


And this very same party who holds no one to account, circumvents the Constitution of The United States of America, and unarguably mismanages wars, disasters and our money are STILL PROPPED UP BY THE CHRISTIAN EVANGELICAL BASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They've got what they can live with?!

President Bush responded to the question if they had enough troops on the ground in Iraq with, "They've got what they can live with."


They've got what they can live with?! What the hell is that suppose to mean? They are dying every freaking day! And it is clearly spiraling out of control. We have even been reduced to taking our orders there from the fledgling Iraqi government who is clearly taking their cues from Muktada al Sadir.


Our commander and chimp acts like a bully on the play ground insisting that his is the only way when it is clear to everyone on the play ground that his way is wrong. He thinks that if he just continues to insist that he is right that everyone will eventually see it his way!


And speaking of bullies, how about the body slam that the law student got for asking Allen a question! I hope that everyone see's the new Republican party for what it is: a bunch of spoiled rich boys who believe that they can do anything they want and resort to physical violence when someone says or does something that they don't like.


And the polls suggest that the upcoming election races are close. I am almost ashamed to be an American! Someone should be ashamed of something!
